Dr. Victoria Chu

Victoria Chu, DVM, DACVECC

Dr. Victoria Chu was born in Fort Lee, New Jersey and raised in Allendale, New Jersey. As a child, she had a deep love for animals and decided that she wanted to become a veterinarian at a young age.

She received her undergraduate degree and a doctorate in veterinary medicine at The Ohio State University. She then completed a small animal rotating internship at the University of Pennsylvania.

Dr. Chu went on to work as an associate emergency doctor for three years at Pittsburgh Veterinary Specialty and Emergency Center (PVSEC). Following that, she completed a three-year residency in Emergency and Critical Care at Cornell University.

Her professional interests include sepsis, respiratory disease, and cardiac disease.

When not in the ICU with her patients, Dr. Chu enjoys ballroom dancing, indoor rock climbing, hiking, and watching movies. She has a lovely cat named Cocoa.
