Meet our doctors…

Dr. Sarah Garrity originates from Jacksonville, Florida. A nerdy kid who loved animals, she knew from a young age she wanted to be a veterinarian. Also, having a passion for art, she attended Florida State University for her undergraduate degree earning a Bachelor of Science in Studio Art with minors in biology and chemistry.

While in college, she worked as a technician in general practice, emergency, and specialty care. Working closely with an internist made her realize that she wanted to pursue the internal medicine specialty even before acceptance to a veterinary college.

Dr. Garrity completed her veterinary training at Auburn University. She then completed a rotating internship at the University of Missouri, followed by an Internal Medicine residency at the University of Tennessee.

She is passionate about patient care and client communication. Her special interests include endocrine disease, autoimmune disease, and gastrointestinal disease.

Outside of the hospital, Dr. Garrity enjoys hiking, exploring museums, listening to live music, and spending time with friends. She now resides in Pasadena, CA, with her cat, Cat.
