Dr. Jaron Naiman

Jaron Naiman, DVM, DACVS-SA

Jaron Naiman, DVM, DACVS-SA, is a Los Angeles native whose deep-rooted connection to Southern California shaped his early passion for veterinary medicine.

He graduated summa cum laude from UCLA with a degree in biology before attending the UC Davis School of Veterinary Medicine. After earning his DVM, Dr. Naiman completed a rigorous rotating internship at Animal Specialty Group in Los Angeles, followed by an advanced surgical residency at Iowa State University.

Upon completing his residency, Dr. Naiman passed the American College of Veterinary Surgeons (ACVS) board examination, becoming a Diplomate of the ACVS and earning the distinction of Board-Certified Small Animal Surgeon.

He went on to serve as an Assistant Professor of Small Animal Surgery at Iowa State University, where he trained future veterinarians and expanded his expertise in both clinical practice and teaching.

Dr. Naiman has contributed to the veterinary field through multiple peer-reviewed publications covering a range of topics, including laparoscopic treatment of ovarian remnant syndrome, Achilles tendon repair techniques, pelvic fracture stabilization, angular limb deformity correction, minimally invasive management of sacroiliac luxations, and proximal femoral fractures.

His professional interests are equally broad and include imaging-based evaluation and correction of bone deformities, 3D printing for surgical planning, orthopedic and neurologic surgery, oncologic and soft tissue procedures, and minimally invasive surgical techniques.

Known for his calm, communicative approach, Dr. Naiman is dedicated to helping pets regain comfort and mobility while supporting pet owners and referring veterinarians through every step of the treatment process.
When he’s not in the operating room, Dr. Naiman enjoys exploring new restaurants, biking, rock climbing, and hiking with his dogs – activities that keep him grounded, active, and connected to the community he serves.
