Dept. of Surgery

Christina De Armond, MVB (Hons), MB, DACVS-SA

Dr. Christina De Armond earned her veterinary degree from University College Dublin in 2014 and remained in Ireland for a year as an intern. She then completed a small animal surgical internship in Arizona prior to a four-year combined small animal surgical residency and veterinary master’s degree at the University of Florida.

As a Southern California native, Dr. De Armond is happy to return home and work as a small animal surgeon at the ACCESS Pasadena location and a minimally invasive orthopedic fellow at the ACCESS Los Angeles Bone and Joint Center.

Dr. De Armond enjoys all aspects of small animal surgery but has a particular interest in orthopedics. Her advanced training and research have focused on the development and application of custom 3D printed surgical guides for use in more challenging procedures, such as limb deformity correction and joint replacement.
