Dr. Colleen Tansey (she/her) is a board-certified veterinary medical oncologist originally from Chicago, where she first worked in the advertising world before deciding to pursue her dream of becoming a veterinarian.

She is a graduate of Western University of Health Sciences, where she also serves as an adjunct Clinical Associate Professor in the College of Veterinary Medicine.

Dr. Tansey has published several scientific articles and participates in clinical trials. She particularly enjoys treating cats with cancer and adopting an east-meets-west approach, incorporating herbs, supplements, and other holistic treatments. She has been practicing electrochemotherapy for 8 years and has treated nearly 1,000 patients.

She and her husband have a menagerie of pets, including 2 dogs, 2 cats, a sulcata tortoise, and a red-eared slider.
